Helpful Posts: Here are two dogs that we have in our "sickbay".
Mitzie, the dog closest to the camera, had a series of mammary tumors removed while Boomer, furthest from the camera, had a broken hip which has been surgically repaired. The dogs will stay in the pens until the vet gives them an O.K. to roam free. Mitzie will be restricted for just a few days while Boomer will be restricted for at least a total of two weeks.

Boomer is doing very well. The vet says there is no problem with him standing on his rear legs and that if it pained him, he would not do it.
You can notice where he has been shaven at the rear for his surgery. Our vet has used internal, absorbable sutures so no stitches removal is necessary...
