Have you noticed that leaves are dropping more quickly than usual? And we don't have as much "red" as we usually do. Blends of yellows seem to be about it unless you catch a pretty maple in someone's yard as their "specimen" tree. At least that is the way it is in my area of Ohio.

Sandy I should have mentioned that this was taken in the White Mountains of NH a couple of weeks ago. I'm in southeast Ohio and I agree that the colors have not been that good in my part of the state.

The same here in St. Louis...Just for a different kind of fun, I went flying with Bill the other day last week to take some aerial shots of autumn scenes like we used to do some years back but they are not as prolific as the reds down the street going to the strip mall. I guess I have given up this time of the year...so I went home empty handed and very disappointed.

All of the foreground is as sharply focused as the far distance, so well done.

All we had seen from the air are are greens and browns...no bunches of red and oranges. Perhaps further where it is colder...next year will be nice.
