    First firework shot

This is my first attempt at photographing a firework display.
My setup was, Canon 6D, Sigma 150-600mm lens on a tripod and remote release.
Soon realised my first mistake, I should have brought my Canon 70-300mm lens. Even at the 150mm end of the Sigma lens it was a to bit close to the action.
    C&C welcomed

I think you did well with the available focal length.

Very nice images! I think your choice of shutter speed was perfect!

Hmmmm...I never thought there will be a difference between normal fireworks and chemical fireworks...some food for thoughts. 'Have to consult Mr. Google but the explanation will take time to read so I will leave them for Ron (Aussie term for later on). Anyway, nicely done. Would be nice to see the shutter speed but I think I will have to download another EXIF viewer. Mine doesn't show the whole data.

I did not know there was laser and chemical fireworks until I goggled it, after Nandakamur mentioned it.
The shutter speed is on top of each image (5 secs).

Sorry I missed that...I was so used to my other EXIF software with the full data and I downloaded this one after I upgraded my SSD to 1TB...I'll have to get that other one again...thanks.
