    You hit the nail on the head there, Bill. We've got plenty of trees and lots of cool nights. But as for warm sunny days .......! Well, the least said the better.

    I, however, have to confess. I have looked at the fall/autumn colours here at home with fresh eyes this year, since coming home from California and Scotland does have wonderful autumnal colour. It's just not on the same scale as you have it over there.

    I went up to North Lake and it was very beautiful. But then I went on the South Lake fork and that blew my mind. Scotland has beautiful autumn/fall colours, but I have never seen anything like that. It was the one time that emotion burst through because I know how much Sheila, my late wife, would have loved it. It really was a sight to behold.
    You witnessed the beauty, you felt your everlasting love. What a moment!
