    Interesting, it does indeed work in B/W. Random colored clothing etc, might distract one from the composition, details, and textures. Nicely done.

    A nice image, I particularly like the symmetry of the composition. With that in mind I would have cloned out the RH lamppost, cloned stamped the LH lamppost further left of the RH tree, only a minor point in an otherwise excellent shot.

    Looks good but I wonder if you could get away with a tiny bit more highlight brightness without the whites becoming over exposed.

    I have an uncalibrated monitor except to say I adjust it by using photos that Manfred posts . Given that, I do not think I can go much further with the highlights.

    It looks good full screen, Sam. I would lose the bird and the dust spots, though.
