    Olive tree

Even after so many years of looking at them still have great difficulties to express feelings when I stand before an old olive tree. C&C welcome
(When Magna Carta was issued this tree was about 200 years old)

Great image, if it could only talk what stories it could tell.

I know exactly what you mean. On holidays I always shoot those trees and until now I didn't succeed to get that feeling looking at them in my photos.
When this tree is 200 year older as the Magna Charta, 1215, this tree is about 1000 year old.

Somehow I've the feeling of to much sharpening in this picture.

I read not so long ago about protests, in Spain I think, against exporting those old trees. Once they're gone, they're gone for a long time!

A bit of extra clarity rather than sharpening, still wondering what to do to convey what I saw there. Thanks for commenting

Nice rendering, IMO framing a little too skimpy

Nicely done Robert, I can certainly associate with your feelings, I get the same standing in front of some of our Oaks and Yews of a similar age, I also get very much the 'how on earth do I capture that !' feeling.

Good shot but there seems to be something missing that I can't put a finger on...
