I love it when someone demonstrates that they had clear intentions in making the image and equally clear intentions in producing the final image. Good on you.

I've just been out and fired off a few frames(It's 5:45pm here as I write). Haven't uploaded them from the camera yet, but I'm hopeful of something quite usable. I didn't think I was going to see it, but the cloud thinned out just at the right time.

Hmmm - I'll have to look at it again. What was making it difficult was there is some land on part of the horizon which was a smidgen higher than the water.

Nice colours Kim, but does it need a slight ccw rotation?

My wife and I visited East Beach a number of times when I was stationed in Rhode Island. You've done a masterful job of capturing the scene. Congratulations!
