good one
Nicely done.
Love the colour, great image and well captured.
What if you were to make a square image, cropping from the bottom?
Perhaps for some, but not for me Donald, for the following reasons:
My longest lens is a 200 focal length, as a result, I knew the image wasn't going to be just about the moon. As I result, I went after the whole scene. Why I wouldn't crop this from the bottom is - one of my favorite parts in the pink reflection on the wet sand. I also like the texture of the waves and rocks (I like their coldness in contrast to the extremely warm colors of the sky). Just a matter of personal task and what my goals were. Thanks for commenting Donald - I appreciate it.
That's nice Kim - for two reasons. It's a gorgeous image and given the weather in this part of the UK at the moment, it's as near to seeing it as I'm going to get.
Last night as the moon rose, it was exceptionally large. However, I didn't shoot it. I expect to do that tonight...
Very nice Kim,
I love the colors.
Obviously gorgeous colors. A refreshingly different composition that works on its own, not just because it is a bit different.
I love it when someone demonstrates that they had clear intentions in making the image and equally clear intentions in producing the final image. Good on you.
I've just been out and fired off a few frames(It's 5:45pm here as I write). Haven't uploaded them from the camera yet, but I'm hopeful of something quite usable. I didn't think I was going to see it, but the cloud thinned out just at the right time.
Beautiful colors Kim and I like the composition
Nice colours Kim, but does it need a slight ccw rotation?
Nice one Kim.
My wife and I visited East Beach a number of times when I was stationed in Rhode Island. You've done a masterful job of capturing the scene. Congratulations!
