I usually like an "Artsy" look but in this case I far prefer this version. It is simple and beautiful.

Plenty of contrast, but neither extreme has been clipped; so it looks good to me.

Thanks all for the comments. Binnur, no I haven't considered mono although I do like mono. In this case though, for me it was all about the early morning calm on the sea and the richness of the colours.
