There is fungus among us.

I believe this is called Sulphur shell. Lots of dynamic range in this image as the fungus was growing partially under a large branch.

Good shot...I worry about your titling as I have just seen a TV advert about toe fungus...now I wonder if toe fungus is the same shape taking in micro-micro macro lens...you got me thinking now and it is a very dangerous undertaking for me...

Anyway, I like the angle of your shot here...add the light there at the left side and you got a winner!
