Afternoon stroll in Autumn
Sometimes the shapes just happen. This is a public pathway connecting the upper and lower lakes at Glendalough, County Wicklow, Ireland.

Re: Afternoon stroll in Autumn
Very nice, Neville...I really like the curving walks and the colour on the sides tho there seems to have quite a bit of fog at the top? Would have been much nice if there are reds too, like ... autumn... I am lost for words, sorry....anyway, you should go on a stroll more often.

Super shot Neville. The gentle light, weaving lines and the people all contribute to the mood of the image.

Re: Afternoon stroll in Autumn
Many thanks all for your kind comments. Because of its location in a steep sided and very shaded valley, Glendalough is not noted for dramatic autumn display of colour. The mood is more subtle. Lens flare was the challenge here and a branch of a tree just out of shot served well.
Izzie, I took your advice earlier today and went for another stroll. Brought the Nikon this time and shall post some results later.
