    Marsden Rock(pool)

I walk along Marsden beach five or six times a week with the dog but I always try to take photographs just to force myself to look for something different, capture a different light or - as in this case- find a new angle.

Very nice Robin, a good 'look' it makes you look hard to understand it. I love the concept and execution. A slight niggle, can you clone out the footprints in the bottom front ?

It is a nice transformation from concrete to abstract

I normally like such abstracts, but this one fails to move me. Perhaps it is because I cannot make head nor tail of it. I tried looking at the up-side-down (as if I were reflection) but to no avail. Perhaps my mind is too concrete (with age?)

Looking at it upside-down would put it back its original orientation as its a reflection of Marsden Rock in wet sand.

I hummed and harred over that for ages but decided to leave it as 'natural' as possible but I get what you're saying as it would make it even more abstract.

Thanks, I can see it now. Makes me wonder why I could not see it before. I still feel that this picture does not move me in any way.

I thought it was a dog digging in the sand
