    Catch this!

Desperate for some action to shoot, I resorted to bribery.

    Bread and honey works everytime.

On its back with its feet in the air is the best pose for this specie.

Hi Nandakumar. As you have discovered via Richard, the Myna bird is not exactly loved in Australia. This is the "Noisy Myna"

Regardless of their reputation, I find them to be a convenient subject for photography. I have photographed perhaps thousands of them. I admire their aerobatic skills and their speed. They also make a decent still subject.

I am grateful for these little birds. They are nearly always available and continue to help me to improve my photography skills, which always have room for improvement.

After studying them for quite some time, my wife and I have learned to view them differently than most folks. I think they are quite a handsome little bird. They have a voracious apetite for insects, and I'm guessing that's a good thing.

Here is one sitting on a perch for you to compare:

O, Myna is common here too, but Indian myna looks a bit different with dark brown wing-feathers; beak is yellow; yes, noisy here too; but as you know, amidst the noisy crows all over here, their sound is felt melodious
