    The Run.. C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

It was clicked in Varanasi, India while i was mentoring the Photo Tour.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops.

    Thank You

PS : Please click on the image for lightbox screen view (Highly recommended)

I might have gone for just a little more of the water with the sun's reflection but I really like it as it is. It reminds me of many long runs some years ago when I was training for marathons.
    Beautiful composition.

I agree with a little bit more water.

The sun is rather high in the sky and seems disconnected with the rest of the scene; but you probably can't do much about it. Although I'm tempted to crop out the sun and produce something around 4 x 5 ratio with more of a subdued pastel tint feel to the scene.

Raj, whenever you shoot directly into the sun, the flare kills contrast in your image and you really need to push that back in. I find you really need that on the trees with this shot.

The other thought is that the sky really lacks tonality, so I wonder if pushing a gradient into the image to give the sky some variation might be appropriate as well.

You might want to look at cleaning your sensor, as both of these things really bring out the dust spots on it (which I removed in this edit).

Hi Raj IMO your original looks great without the sun and its reflection. I would clone both of them and leave the rest as is .
