    Fall Yard Cleanup

It's been a while since I've posted and I figured that I would share a few images of my son yesterday helping with our fall yard cleanup. I love that he wants to be involved. CC welcome.

He looks lovely in all images Josh The highlights in the FG in #1 are a bit distracting. I would try to include the tip of his hat and his elbow in the frame in #2. The bokeh looks great in that image. I would try to include the whole body in the frame in #3. But I don't shoot people or portraits, so the experts' opinions might differ

I would crop the bottom of #1 to reduce the amount of out of focus foreground maybe 4 x 5 ratio.

If you can't get all of him in the scene with #3, I would be tempted to crop that one to 4 x 5 as well. A little from top and bottom to produce something similar to the second image.

    Exposure and focus are good.

    Hi Josh,

    Welcome back!

Good series, I do tend to agree with Geoff's crop suggestions. There's also a bright golden leaf on the right hand edge of frame in #1 and #3, if mine, I'd zap them with the spot healing tool in a trice.

Won't be too long before he's saying "Dad, are you gonna help or just take pictures all day?"

    Good captures, Dave

One cannot beat a pair of willing hands and then you get a layabout taken photos. Lovely boy, God bless him. Love your images.

    Good photographer and model!

I would leave the last one as is because the boy's eyes are one-third of the way down from the top, a position that attracts the viewer's attention very nicely. That's actually my favorite of the three very attractive images.

Alternatively, consider cropping to exclude a little more of both so the composition doesn't look like an accident.
