    Being sensible for a moment ...

    I considered suggesting a crop to the RHS, but decided against it, having moved the picture (in LyteBox) around my screen and discovered that the oof red leaf in the background on the right is a useful colour & tone 'balance' to the wasp's body.

    It does and I left it. This was a quick job to check the upload function here. I'm actually inclined to take a bit off the bottom so that the visual line from the wasp to the red becomes more dominant.

    Nice pic, especially of the wasp. My botanical instincts were trying to tell me that the flower was not a Primrose (it has four petals). However I find that this is a member of the Evening Primrose family, not a Primula.
