I love walking at night so I'm not sure why I haven't taken it up before now

I love the way the eye is drawn into the photo by the row of houses. However, if it was my photo I would clone out the lightpole in front of the van and darken the light from the yellow vapour lamp.
Regardless of what I would do, well done it is a great photo

I really like this Matt - I like the light as it is. I can't see the exif but is it a composite of exposures? And did you use flash in the telephone box?

I know your usual style is to take what you are given but this has a more crafted feel. However you approached it, the result is great.

This is a single exposure, I had to play around with the WB a bit and I added a vignette.

The telephone box has a light built inside it, thats what attracted me to the scene in the first place

Very evocative of the current age (in UK), with the possible exception of a person actually using the box for a call.

It could be shot almost anywhere in the country; the mix of houses, cars, street lamps (Sodium vapour and LED), et al.

Good processing too, I'm sure the original didn't look this good.

Definitely one to be viewed full size in the LyteBox.
