    Good morning, Sam!

Can you explain your processing methods? And your reasoning behind what you rendered? If it is about the artistic intent, then fine. But for me, a morning sky has ore of a pastel look and not so harsh.

Also, the wires, because of the contrast from the background, to me are far to noticeable.

    Good morning Marie,

My reasoning was more toward the artistic intent but also to see what I could squeeze get out a low light situation. I agree that the wires are unsightly. I could clone them out but I do not think the picture is worth the time at the moment. I processed this file last winter so I do not recall my steps completely. However, I always start in Lightroom then for this image I probably used Color Efex Pro 4. I always return to Lightroom for final touch ups. Lastly, yesterday I added a touch of clarity using MS Photos which is a first.

Thank you so much for you comments. They help me look a the image from a new perspective.

Sam, Marie, I think the wires are fencing and a road.....

Hi Sam I think there is too much going on in this scene. I would either crop most of the sky and focus on the snowy area and the mountains or crop the image from the bottom severely and leave only the mountains and the vast sky in the frame. I think the second option (the sky with the mountains only) sounds better

Thanks Binnur, those are interesting options for cropping. I actually like the whole scene outcropped...except the wires. I was mainly experimenting with post-processing.

This is a different kind of image; i don't feel troubled by the power lines; i feel it would have been disturbing only if the house is not there....so there is a connection between the two which appear synergistic
