Atmospherics, the Raleigh effect, etc. affect the colour temperature of the light, but that's. These effects can filter out parts of the spectrum, but if the frequency wasn't there to begin with, it cannot be added back. If you have a proper calibration for your camera for the full spectrum, you can be reasonably sure that the colours have been mapped correctly by the profile you have created. Put a filter on your lens or shoot at twilight, the colour response will still be accurate.
