Girl Busking
I took this photo of the girl busking in the main street of the CBD, Auckland. Felt really bad that I did not have any change or a $5 note. If I see her again will donate, that's for sure !

Re: Girl Busking
Nice expression, you can eliminate the passerby in a square format.
Very good B&W.

Thanks Jean, I did consider taking out the passer-by but decided that there is some subtle interaction there. Will be interested to hear what others think.

Re: Girl Busking
Its a nice capture - slightly weird processing with smoothed out details and some of the tones have fragmented?
I think I'm with Jean, I'd prefer it without the second figure.

Re: Girl Busking
Thanks for the feedback, Robin. I had to do quite a bit of processing because of the lights and reflections off the jewelry in the window. Have been looking, trying to figure out which parts you refer to. I assume most of the comment refers to the tiles on the shop wall, which I now see have differing results ? The others ?

A really pretty lady; without that gent in the figure, it would have been a reporter's photograph, but with him-i even like him being partial within the frame- makes it a creative photographer's view point. So i would recommend to keep him there

Re: Girl Busking
I love this one.
At first glance one might be tempted to crop away that guy in the foreground. - Don't!
He makes it more authentic.

Re: Girl Busking
Both have merits in different ways...but I like the version without the guy. The one with the guy makes the subject a bit too centred while the one without doesn't...
