Nice photo Jim. Have you considered cloning out the twig that is hanging from the right shoulder? Also the background is very busy. It could be darkened and a bit of gaussian blur applied to make animal "pop" a little

Perhaps a little Clarity (aka LCE) on the subject alone Jim?
Might also stand a tad more very fine radius (0.3px), low threshold (0 or 1) USM sharpening applied after downsizing for web upload.

Thanks all for the comments and the great critique on this image. It is appreciated and very helpful.
I will give it a go to reduce the impact the background has and remove the twig. These guys always have something hanging on them this time of year.
