For the last ten or so days we had alternation between day (minus 8C) and night (minus 20C) temperatures combined with relatively humid air (humid for us) and calm wind. These conditions have led to hoarfrost forming on most surfaces. Went out on Sunday to this field where I knew the sunlight angles would work to light the area at near sunset

Just as the sun was setting, the mist is starting to form as the air cools
After sunset , shot from the other side and the mist getting denser. Decided to leave at this point as the temperature was dropping like a brick and I was getting chilled.
