Here's how it works ...

- After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

- If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

A typical seven day break:
Tunnel; through Belgium and overnight stay in Vianden Luxembourg; into Germany and down to Lake Constance for three nights; back to Alsace for an overnight stop; up to La Wast near Boulogne for an overnight stop; tunnel and home ... simple

Hey you must be Carregwans friend, I do not think the first is as good, you must have seen they only allow itty little photo's here, forcing macro inspired images. It is blown in important places. Overall it is a brilliant conception composure wise, but I think you can get everything right. It isn't actually a lot more, only a little bit.

Second one is spot on, I like it and cannot think how I could do it better.

Sounds like a top gear challenge. Do you have to do it in a Morris Mariner you have purchased for less than £50. I liked the race against Captain Slow in the Cessna best. Is Richard Hammond really that small?

It's all about the wine Steve. Stop in Luxembourg 'cos it's beautiful and the fuel is just about the cheapest in Europe, Lake Constance 'cos it's beautiful and the wine is good; stop in Alsace 'cos it's beautiful and that's where my vines are; stop in northern France 'cos the owner's daughter is beautiful and the food is fabulous; stop where I can to take the odd pic !! And my old Ford diesel will beat Captain Slow's Cessna every time.
