I think you mean the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), in Toronto.

    Re: Interconnecting Rooms

I wonder what that would look like as a selected color shot with only the painting colored?
    Nice shot as is though.

Different, that what makes it standout, well spotted and taken.

Really mesmerizing. It makes me carefully study it.

I've gotta ask: is it an art work hanging on the wall or did you add the drop shadow and the background to make it look that way?

    Re: Interconnecting Rooms

    Thanks for all the comments.

Manfred, I had somehow got it into my head that it is the Museum of "Ontario" but the Art Gallery of "Toronto". Too busy looking through the viewfinder I guess.

Paul, yes I am. Most times it's in my jacket pocket which is a real attraction. Still miss a viewfinder though, especially in bright sun. There is an optical accessory VF available but I suspect that it would not suit me because I need dioptre compensation which it doesn't have. As you might expect though, IQ and Noise performance matches the X-T1.

Alan - Um? Not sure what it would add. I will use selective colour where there is a purpose to it but I'm not a fan just for the sake of it.

Mike, no it's a view I spotted walking around the gallery. The drop shadow is added in Photoshop. Not every one's cup of tea I know but I like to "finish off" an image where it seems appropriate just as you might be selective about how you would choose the colour and style of a print mount.

    Re: Interconnecting Rooms

I really wanted the X100T. It's a larger camera but has the missing bits however, it is more expensive and was more difficult to justify at the time . I have a feeling though that I might be looking at the X100F when it is finally released in the spring of next year.

Love the view from here, I hope you did not think hard enough before you took that shot. Very, very good composition. I agree with Nandy that it is of a different perspective...
