Nicely seen and captured.
Great street picture and nicely framed.
Cheers Ole
Neatly captured!
You captured the moment Sergio The tree and the boxes on the wall seem a bit distracting to me. If the image was mine I would crop it from left to leave only one box on the wall.
+1 to Binnur's comment - while the framing is interesting, the image looks like an opportunistic snapshot. The foreground material is definitely in the way as well.
Great timing. Spotted and taken, that's quick.
Thanks, John.
Thanks, Ole.
Thanks, Richard. I thought it was pretty neat.
Binnur, thanks for the comment and suggestion.
Manfred, you're right, it was an opportunistic shot as most street photography is; unless you park yourself somewhere and wait for someone to walk into the frame. I'm actually pretty excited about this shot. When I consider that once I saw what was about to happen, I had only a couple of seconds to adjust my zone of focus, frame the shot and capture the moment; and I did. Yea!, I'm stoked.
Is it a perfect shot? No. Does it have distracting elements, and is it only a snapshot as you say? Perhaps, but that is open to personal taste and interpretation. If you think it has those issues, that's perfectly OK, no problem; as long as it works for me. I've come to the conclusion that what Ricky Nelson sang about his music is true about photography: "You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself."
Thanks for commenting.
Thanks, Maurice. It did happen pretty fast, but it was fun being able to capture the moment. I've missed shots in the past because I was not fast enough, so I've gotten better.
Sergio
I wish I have your quick thinking...no matter what anyone else says, I think you did have the title right here..
