This is the kind of scene that in my mind debunks the myth that when shooting color photos we should put the camera away between 10:00am and 2:00pm. A nicely executed image such as this one with a pleasing composition and attractive color definitely makes it a keeper despite that the sun is primarily overhead.

Thanks Mike. I spent a week in this location (the English Lakes) and this day was the only good one, sandwiched between awful days of wind, rain and gloom (when one of your hurricanes with a sting left in its tail hit us), so every minute was precious
