    Ammonia vapors deaden the olfactory after a few minutes. It's a well documented phenomenon. Unfortunately it'll be a few more weeks before I can stomach fish again. And us with a freezer full of salmon and halibut

    It's times like these that separate those who are truly dedicated to their craft. Then again maybe you just don't have to be too smart to trip a shutter on a camera

    You have a freezer in Alaska - I hadn't imagined such a machine would be necessary up there

    Bears, ravens, wolves, etc, are unfortunately fond of the same things that we enjoy. Which gave rise to the traditional elevated storage "cache". It's easier for us urban dwellers to simply plug in a freezer in the garage
