    A different view

Following the positive response of the fire tower picture now the fire tower from a different perspective. I find the contrast between the rust color of the tower and the blue sky very beautiful.

I agree with the attractive contrasting colors. Composition is a bit beyond my grasp.

Nicely done, the contrails give it a rocket look.

I can understand that. I took this photo with my back to the fire tower and then the picture was taken leaning back.

Warm colors almost always go well with cool colors and this image is no exception.

When you had your back to the tower, you were viewing a three-dimensional world. Unless the viewer is traveling in outer space, Earth's sky is always above us. It is for that reason that having to look downward to the bottom of the two-dimensional frame to see the most expansive part of the sky makes it seem to me as if you accidentally flipped the image vertically.

An interesting comment, I did not reverse the picture, so he really comes out of the camera in this way.
I like to make different pictures than we are used to.

    Re: A different view

I can cope with the composition, but the logo lower left keeps attracting my attention away from the subject

They do so 'generically', (not just yours) but in most pics with them, unfortunately this is a special case where the colours conspire to make it far worse than usual.

I like the contrasting colors, but I have to agree with Binnur--looking at it made me feel uncomfortable, but inverting it took care of that.

    Dave.

This is the picture without the logo and is rotated. Still, I find the first picture the best.

I'm with you Arnold, I prefer the original orientation (just w/o the logo) - but don't feel you have to provide another version, I can imagine it - or stand on my head

I really like the first version (minus the logo!).

Changes to the second version seem to be more than just rotating it and eliminating the logo.

You'r right Mike, when I turnt the photo all was different. The shadows, the way you look at the photo, I still like the firts the best.
The logo, well, that is my mark, it's not a big logo and it belong on my photo's.
