An interesting bit of SP, John, although I'm curious as to why you chose to process it this way.

    Hi Sergio,

Was reading an article on tintypes and wanted to try it, in the process this conversion developed before me. While this was taken in open air I thought the grungy streaks would give it an outside looking in feel. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Interesting shot. I liked the movement of the barber contrasting with the stillness of his 'patient'.

Well, that's something different. It's pretty neat looking, John. Is it a composite or something you actually came across?

    Hi Binnur,

They did light it at night, unfortunately I could not get back to the area at night without having to walk a long distance. Thanks for commenting.

Great colour. Is he posing for the shot? Cool in spite of his job stress!

    Hi Joe,

He wasn't posing for me but perhaps for someone else as it was quite a busy intersection; although you can't tell from this particular angle. It was such a typical model's pose that I just had to grab the shot. Thanks for commenting.

    John,
This is an example of a type of street photo that I don't understand. It doesn't appear to me to be telling a story, or portraying a special moment in time, and to my mind would have been essentially the same if taken a minute or two before or after.
I'd like to understand what it was you were trying to say or portray with this image, and if you feel you succeeded.

John, I find the scene interesting. There are two young woman talking to a man who is barely visible, and it's intriguing because is he trying to sell them something or just chatting them up.
