Nicely captured, skin looks perfect.
Its all about the eyes and beautiful eyes they are. Very well executed.
Nicely composed and taken and very well processed.
The rippled shapes in the background are at the perfect angle to lead the eye to the subject and the most important element, the eyes, are the brightest to stand out well.
Maybe I'd like a little more lightening of shadows in the lower part of his face and neck but that's about it. Excellent.
Very nice image and a beautiful boy
Here I am, learning from your shots again Javier
Please treat my words as no more than me 'thinking out loud', you are actually shooting these and I am not experienced enough to advise you, other than I may have watched something similar in a video.
When I look at this good shot, these are the things I might try differently next time, if I had taken it (you may have already tried and discovered they're no help or unavoidable with what you have at hand).
a) The secondary brighter area on his chest attracts my attention, I wonder whether this was caused by glancing light of the top barn door being used to form the slit illuminating his face?
b) The angle of the light to his face has resulted in a fairly sharp edged shadow falling on his ear and the outer lobe areas being illuminated, I'd try to avoid those if possible. However, I accept that the small light source required to effect the tight illumination on his face makes sharp edged shadows unavoidable if cast.
Short of holding one or two 'flags' between the light and the subject, both a) and b) may be impossible to fix without an assistant or two - and the experience to know what might happen at the time of shooting (which I doubt I would have had, had I not seen this).
All the best, Dave
