A lack of sharpness on the man?

I like the image very much Fernando. I would fix the color of the top right corner as it differs from the sky

    Quite reminiscent!

The original appeared in a short story by Arthur C Clarke and was called "TMA-1" - later expanded into the well-known full length movie "2001".

(drifts further off-topic) "2001" was perhaps the last SF movie where all the stuff was clinically clean. Then came "Star Wars" with everything looking well-used, to say the least . .

My favorite Stanley Kubrick scene of all time is where Slim Pickens rides the bomb.

    PS FAO Ted,

iirc the monolith first appeared in Clark's short story "The Sentinal" It was a pyramid then (SF fan since ah was 9-10).

Ta, mate. I read that story years before I saw the movie (er, filum) but I still remember realizing after a bit of footage what the movie was based on but I had forgotten the title. I'm not sure that many know the movie's origin these days.

I too read SF exclusively BC (before computers).
