    Between the Clouds 2

    Hi all,

I took this photo at sunset; thankfully the sun found its way through the clouds to fall on the mountain near Madrid.

Absolutely stunning composition and light. Ironically, stunning because both characteristics appear so natural.

    This is a marvelous photo.

Sometimes you need the wide lens to get a landscape, sometimes you need a long lens. My favorite landscape shot ever was taken at the long end of my longest lens.

My thoughts exactly. This is one of the best landscapes I have seen here this year.

I really like this image. The clouds framing the mountain and wonderful light.

Thanks for the compliment John. Good landscapes depend very much on location and timing, and on this occasion I was fortunate.

And thanks to you all for your comments.
