    Chasing the Rainbow

Just for fun really, a cold and misty morning in a bit of Beech woods, looking for fungi but liked the light and shadows so set the shot up and as i took it a dog ran into the frame, well I like it anyway

Looks like it was a lovely morning. I can see why you were shooting.

Sometimes lens flare can manifest in an appealing manner. IMO this wasn't one of those times. Also the first shot is maybe a little too wide. I also prefer the second shot though maybe a few more leaves at bottom would have been nice. Take it with a grain of salt. Not an area that I excell at

No 2, by a country mile, Mark! However, I would try increasing the saturation of the leaves. Just a thought !

Thanks Maurice, Dan, Jim A, Yeah, #1 was for fun really, I have a few more with the flare better controlled, #2 what is called WIP - Work In Progress, the leaves do as you say need a bit more saturation but not a lot I think. Its one I will 'tinker' with for a while to get to the final image.
