Nicely composed, some interesting formations on the horizon yet so small they don't really add anything to the composition. Might be useful as a marker for the area but only if the viewer has been there.

I would crop a bit of the sky to put the emphasis more on the conic hills in the FG and and the curving hill in the BG

Yes, nice composed, though I might agree with Binnur about a sky crop. I do wonder about your comments about the 'interesting formations'. Maybe they do not add anything to the composition, but neither do they detract from it. A landscape image should stand or fall on how it depicts what is actually there. This image does just that, and is all the better for it.

I was also wondering about a slight sky crop; but not too much so the blue intensity gets lost. Then, I suppose, a balancing amount from the left side.

And I agree about leaving the far distance objects. They nicely fall between those two peaks and add a little extra interest without causing distraction

Thank you Binnur, John and Geoff re cropping the sky. I think you are right. The blue sky was so nice to see after so much recent gloom that I was probably carried away by it!
