Beautiful coastline, #1 fantastic image.
I really appreciate the rugged beauty you have captured of the coast, and as a plus the age of the underlying geology. Your statue certainly has been placed in a strategic spot!
In NZ it is common for people, when they die, to fund a bench seat in such locations with a plaque indicating their names and a short tribute. This can have a very practical benefit to the photographer if we want to take some time capturing the scene!
Good compositions well photographed.
Rugged looking bit of coastline. Nicely composed and captured. Well done.
Thanks Trev.
Of course, geology as a discipline owes much to the C19th scientists who worked in Wales, hence the names Cambrian, named after Wales, and Ordovician and Silurian, named after ancient Welsh tribes.
The practice of providing/dedicating seats is common over here too. Sadly, some get vandalised, though not, I think, in this area of Wales, which tends to be generally free of crime and "yobbishness".

Great images Dave, not an area I have got to yet, its on the list ! Love the rock formations in the 2nd shot.
Very well done on both. Enjoyed viewing.
Nicely captured images of a beautiful rugged coast.
Thank you Mark. I've been in love with north Pembrokeshire for years, but this was my first visit to Llangrannog, a very pleasant surprise, where a stream tumbles down a steep, rocky wooded gorge to a tiny bay. I saw dolphins from the coast path too. I only learnt of it by chance when I read an enthusiatic comment in my holiday cottage guestbook. (p.s. I must get to the Gower sometime).
