So ...
... Who's up for it this time?
So ...
... Who's up for it this time?
Hmmm, already
I have to say; with a full time job and mod time here, plus relaxation time, I still had to put a lot of normal life on hold last time and after it ended, it was almost another month before I used the camera again apart from pre-arranged photography days Anyone else find that or is it just moaney old me?
But while it was running, I could feel it doing me good
I'll give it a shot. I had it easy last time, being out of work, and I'm starting a new job next week, so I expect it to be hard, but I want to try it under more "realistic" circumstances. Like Dave, I found I did a lot less for a while after the last one even though I had it easy, but I certainly think it did me a lot of good.
The nice thing is that we're taking a week in the Florida Keys in the middle of the month, so a PAD then will be a slam-dunk. The reading and commenting will be tough, but I'll be doing a lot of shooting.
Cheers,
Rick
I wimped out last time - so I would like to give it a go this time - Basketball season will be finished so more time for me
Yep folks ... it's tough for me too!
When the going get's tough, the tough get going! & "no pain, no gain"
I'll give it a try.
Am I right in assuming PAD means "Photo A Day"?
I'll leave the camera on the kitchen window sill, and press the shutter each morning while I'm waiting for my coffee to brew!
But I doubt that'll be classed as entering into the spirit of it
Oh, stop being such an old has-been! Next thing you'll be going into M&S to look for a quality plastic wallet to keep your pension book in.
Colin - put his name down, and FGS send him some furry carpet slippers. He can always photography those for thirty days. He's getting as bad as Donald (well, almost)
Well, I'm a masochist so I guess that's a YES!
Colin, may I suggest, if you have the time, that we start a new album and you select what you consider the best shot of each day. That would make 31 for the month which is a nice viewable limit for an album. You might need to delay selection for a day or two to allow for late-date submissions. Just a thought.
As long as you promise not to wear them with socks and a kilt. Not a good look and nearly as bad as sandals, white knee socks and shorts (apologies to any of our US friends tuning in)Does that mean I should be getting sent furry carpet slippers as well?
You could lend your panama hat and Laura Ashley cushions to complete the setOh, stop being such an old has-been! Next thing you'll be going into M&S to look for a quality plastic wallet to keep your pension book in.
Being in the US,I resent that!.... It's black knee socks with sandals and shortsAs long as you promise not to wear them with socks and a kilt. Not a good look and nearly as bad as sandals, white knee socks and shorts (apologies to any of our US friends tuning in)
Apologies Jim. You are quite right. Although there does appear to be some regional variants on the national dress code. I should not throw stones really since the glass house of British fashion seems to have settled on three quarter length camo trousers, oversized soccer top, burberry baseball cap and crocs.Being in the US,I resent that!.... I actually only go out once a week, then take fifty or sixty. Only one a day, I can't do one a day and that sort of forces a documentary style of photography. Count me out I can't do it.
I'll give it a go,have'nt had a chance to practice lately, bought an old house cheap and all my time has gone into that.Should be ready to move in after a couple of weeks.
Wonder what I'm letting myself in for
