The young girl and her frog

The frog was so colorful, and she loved him. Maybe a bit more blur to the background would make a better image.

The background looks fine to me. Except for two very tiny items which don't really make much difference anyway.

Left side just above halfway there is a rather bright little bit of reed facing inwards, at a different angle to the rest. And between the girl and frog, just below eye level there is a tiny circular bright spot reflection. If it wasn't perfectly circular I wouldn't have noticed it.

Maybe I would have a go at cloning over the bright area on the front of the frog. Almost at the image central point. But that isn't an important item.

Very good composition from what appears to have been difficult and harsh lighting conditions.

Nice one, made me smile. I think anymore blur would make her appearance too soft, were you shooting wide open?.

Yeah, it was a bit too wide open. . (f2).
I know. With that kind of lighting, big boo boo. Still playing/learning.

You could almost name this "Should I kiss it or not??

She is in pre-adopt placement with us from the foster care system. She's probably thinking, this frog is much more safe and interesting.
