#1 and #3 could do with lifting the shadows slightly on the tree line.
A bit of camera shake with the Chocolate Lab :).

Thanks Mal.

Thanks Gary. You are right about the blurry shot of the Lab. I have a better shot, my last take of the day. Here it is!

The white blur is condensation from her breath. It was very cold!

I was just about to ask about the cloud and read your final line. I would go for a tighter crop of her head with the condensation, would look really awesome.

Thanks Gary. You are right about the shadows. I have lifted them as suggested.

Nice additions; I love that cerulean blue Mountains :)

Both look good and a potentially problematic sky has been kept under control.

Thanks John. I had some difficulty with the PP for this crop of the Lab., hence the delay in responding to your suggestion. In any event, after many attempts here it is. I think your suggestion was great; I hope I was able to do justice to it.

Lovely image--good exposure. Composition would be improved if the swan was not so dead center--if she/he had more space in front than behind. Suggest you try a slight crop off the right side and see if you like it. Some folks are concerned about maintaining a traditional size ration, in which case a little off the bottom would do that. You are getting very good with these graceful creatures!

Re: 2017 Project 52, First Quarter by Joe/ Joebranko
On the weekend I took a little road trip to Bracebridge Ontario, about 200km north of Toronto. I had read and seen photographs of High Falls and wanted to grab a few shots. I picked a bad time for this visit as the trails to the bottom of the falls were treacherous, covered with snow and ice. I had to make do with some shots from the top of the falls.
1 High Falls from the top

2. Flow going over the dam before heading over the falls.

3. Took the opportunity while up north to grab some more pics. This one from Lake Couchiching, at Washago. Note the reflection of the tree seems to have leaves while in fact its branches are quite bare.

4. A river in Washago.
