Canon 7D Mark II Center Point Focus
I have just located my Canon 1.4x TC which I had misplaced (left it in a pocket of my photo vest) and I want to use it tomorrow on my 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens. The TC will reduce the maximum aperture to f/8. However I understand that the 7DII will auto focus with an f/8 lens when using the center point.
Which of these two methods of center point focus would be the correct way to set the camera and lens up for auto focus? I have attempted to research this online and by using the rather skimpy 7DII User Manual with no success...
