Moon rise in clouds

tonight, the layers of clouds just glowed when in front of the moon. This harvest moon sure can give you so many different moods. Everyone else takes such beautiful full moon shots I wanted to try something different and the clouds provided that moment

I like these very much, Dave, especially #1. They are very atmospheric in mood. In #1 the moon looks as if it's floating near the surface of some dark liquid. Well captured.

Very impressive, Dave. Seeing the possibilities being presented was the first act of making these dramatic images. The first one, in particular, is one of those that, the more you look at it, more and more aspects and subtleties emerge.
