That is definitely the most photographed lighthouse in Canada, and unfortunately the maritime climate / weather was working against you that day, but you managed to still pull off a very nice image.
My sister-in-law's father has done some beautiful shots at Peggy's Cove, but as he lives in nearby Dartmouth, that gives him an unfair advantage.

Nice bites, looks good.
Beautiful shot! Peggy's Cove is still on my bucket list. Hope to get there soon!
Excellent image, PP and dull weather you did very well.
Beautiful
Nicely done.
I had the same climate as you when I visited the lighthouse. I didn't have anywhere near the same success as you in dealing with it.

Thanks for the comments all.
Your right Manfred. More film and digital exposures over the years than you could quantify however, by the same token you can't go to somewhere so iconic and not use a camera. I envy your sister-in-law's father (your father-in-law?). NS is such a photogenic place that together with Toronto, I was inspired to press the shutter button at almost every turn. I'm having to find other shots from last year to avoid boring everyone by constantly posting nothing but shots from last September's Canadian holiday.
Joe, don't hesitate. The whole area from Peggy's Cove south, is a photographers paradise.
Mike, given that we were on the move, it was one of those "grab it while you can and make what you can of it later" moments.

Hi John Very nice image which has to be viewed in lightbox, I like the conversion and the composition. I think the horizon needs levelling though
I've been to this location. I remember how charmingly desolate Peggy's Cove seems to be. I think this image captures that.
Thanks for the comment Guy.
