    Exactly my thoughts. Maybe a slight crop from the bottom and right side?

    You could try a little bit more shadow brightness but I fear that could result in a rather 'murky' result and I suspect that with a slight crop this current version would work well enough.

    I like the tonal ranges, the sky has a bit too much noise though.

    Many thanks to all who replied the C&C was most welcome.

    The shot was taken long after the sun had gone down and it was almost dark. It was partly a test of the Olympus 12-100mm lens. 1/200sec ISO500 F4 and hand held. The pair were home after what had probably been a very slow trip against the tide and I wanted to catch some of the mood - it didn't quite work.

    There was never going to be a lot of detail.
    This was the sunset about ten minutes earlier.

    It didn't find its way to the 'keepers' folder either.
