Clevedon Pier & the Moon tonight

I'm being a bit random in my photography at the moment.
Shooting the moon is a fairly regular theme, but recently I've been making 'spur of the moment' decisions to follw up on ideas for shoots that have been on the back burner for years.

New Year's day, the sun was out and I've always intended to take a look at Clevedon Pier.... So, ...250 mile round trip later....

#1 A conventional view really...


#2 As You Are, We Once Were..... the Lamps and the Benches are used for memorials and inscriptions..

Thanks Matt, yes, but not quite on the ground... that was a bit too extreme, (mostly planks). I ended up balancing it on the toe of my shoe!

Thanks Maurice, The conditions for the moon are pretty good at present(cloud permitting). I'm planning for a detail shoot of the Orion Nebula, but will probably have to wait a few weeks because the moon is in Orion right now.
