Acharn morning awakens
Yet another overlooked image in my collection. This one is from September last year and taken around 06:30 whilst every body else was still asleep. The view is looking towards Kenmore with just a glimpse of Loch Tay on the left side.
I didn't think that the sun would break through the cloud cover, so I was quite pleased that it did manage to produce a hint of colour to light up my morning.

Aahh. The peace. The quiet. The solitude.

Yes indeed, the scene is soothing and peaceful. I especially like the little cottage in the lower right corner.

Peter, exceptional image, composition, capture, with soft lighting. Well worth rising early for.

Amen to what everyone has already said. Consider toning down the saturation of the green field, as it seems that it wouldn't be so saturated in that light.

Beautiful shot. I agree with Mike regarding the rather saturated green field, other than that, beautiful.
Cheers Ole

I like the composition the colour of the morning and the drama before the sun rises. Processing is good too. Good job, Peter.
