The Moon last night... A CORRECTION Duh!

I posted a photo of the moon in this thread ,yesterday. Clevedon Pier & the Moon tonight

Dan commented on the fact that he had also captured and posted the same moon.

I had seen his capture and something was niggling me... my shot had a more advanced/different terminator. This could have been down to processing differences and/or the fact that Dan is in a very different time zone.

Anyway, I took another look at my original capture and realised.... dimwit taht I am, that I had posted the WRONG image.
Somehow I picked up a shot from almost a year ago when I started the upload to Tinypic.

So Mea Culpa, I have now posted both images to correct what should have been glaringly obvious

I was wondering about the difference in appearance between our shots. Not being an astronomer I chalked it up to difference in Lat/Lon.

Have to admit that if you hadn't posted your image I'd probably never have realised, both images are within about 12 hours of the same phase.
