Re: Canadian Raptor Conservacy
Hi Suzan:
Absolutely excellent images! I particularly like the one of the bald eagle over the water - For me the reflection adds significantly to the image. We have a similar facility at Duncan in Vancouver Island and I suspect we both share an awe of the majesty, grace and power of these amazing birds.

Re: Canadian Raptor Conservacy
Beautiful images and bird. Great idea to let people shoot, with camaras, and help them as well.

Re: Canadian Raptor Conservacy
Wonderful imagery... IMO the bald eagle is the most photogenic bird of all raptors and you made some very nice captures...
BTW: For folks in Southern California, WILDLIFE RESEARCH INSTITUTE in Ramona, North of San Diego and east of Escondido presents a HAWKWATCH program on raptors on Saturdays in January and February. This program is free and while not as photogenic as the Canadian Raptor Conservancy, it is well worth a visit. Now that I have a 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens, I will visit HAWKWATCH again as soon as the weather clears...

Re: Canadian Raptor Conservacy
Those are some wonderful shots Susan. What makes them stand out in the case of the first two is the way you have captured the look in the birds eye. Good stuff.
