Android photos
I have just realised that my newish smartphone can take reasonable pictures
. Out of camera they have lots of mp's. Two questions:
Can you suggest an app that will do basic editing (including downsizing)?
Recommended way to upload from adroid?
Thanks (btw am in Costa Rica so posting at odd times)

Re: Android photos
Hi Dave,
I use Snapseed on my iPhone, and like it because you can do selective edits. I know they make a version for Android.
What part of Costa Rica are you in? I look forward to seeing your images.

Re: Android photos
Hi Dave
I have Photoshop Express on my iPad and I believe there is an Android version. As far as I know the basic version is free. Could be worth a try. I don't use it much anymore because the ios app Photos does a reasonable job.
Dave
PS Sorry Dave just re-read your post. PS Express doesn't do downsizing to specific sizes as far as I know. It does have a number of export options though which may involve downsizing.

Re: Android photos
Can't help you with the App, but presumably you have a lap top with you to which you want to upload. I followed the following for Windows 10. If you are still using W7, I guess there will be an equivalent if you Google it.

Re: Android photos
Thanks for the suggestions. It's to be able to upload to the web -even CiC ! Hence the need to downsize. I have a phone and a tablet, so it's easy to move stuff between them.
Not many photos yet - reckon we've had at least half a metre of rain in the past twenty four hours.
