Works for me
Use your images, displayed on your monitor, as a background for studio photography.
I think you'll like the concept.

Re: Works for me
Only for fairly small subjects and limited shooting angles. Most of the studio shots I take are too large to use even my 27" computer screen with.
It also restricts how I can light things, as I tend to use studio flash for a lot of my work, the screen would be so dim that it the image on it would not make a significant contribution to the image, but the glare of the lights off it might.

Those two images are certainly proof that your idea works really well for tabletop photography.

I thought you might be able to use it in your glassware stuff.

Seems like a viable way to get a wide variety of backgrounds.

Re: Works for me
This isn't a new idea, but merely an old one re-packaged.
Years ago people used to project slide images on screens or walls to use as photographic backgrounds.
There are some very good examples to be found in the photography books of the late John Hedgecoe, a wonderful and incredibly talented British photographer.
