Sunset with North West Wind
The brilliant sky caught my attention last night, but what surprised me was the speed that the sunset changed while I was trying different camera settings.
The weather was a gale north west wind, with the setting sun.

Re: Sunset with North West Wind
Yes those few moments as the sun drops below the horizon seem to happen far too quickly. What has surprised me is how long the after glow can linger on for. On several occasions I have jumped in the car thinking photography was over for the day and then come across another scene with enough residual warm light to take some more shots.
