Chris, super images, there are so sharp and clear. #2 my favourite with that tail flying and movement.

Just purchased a Nikon D500. Coupled to the 200-500 zoom, I get a 300-750 crop factor. it's a super fast focus lock and handles higher ISO's with ease.

Both excellent shots, Chris. The first one is really well done. The second is the most common sight of a deer to most people.
I'm shooting the same kit. Initially I wasn't all that impressed with the D500 versus the D7200. Now I've spent some time customizing buttons and taking advantage of the awesome AF system, I'm liking it a lot more. It pairs will with the 200-500.
